SUCCESS IS IN THE CARDS II

Monday, June 11th, 2012

PLEASE ADD YOUR INSANELY GREAT QUESTIONS – EVERYONE has the opportunity to make a difference. ADD your question and get in on the ground floor.

The Entrepreneurs’ Deck O’ Cards is a real life card game and an iPad app IN THE MAKING by our knowledgeable contributors, YOU.  WE showcase our contributors, and down the road our profits will be invested in Start Ups you choose. It’s FUN and beneficial for all.

The questions are being crowd-sourced on list.ly right now, ensuring that we get the best of the best. This is excellent exposure for everyone who contributes.

Your QUESTION featured on the Entrepreneurs’ Deck O’ Cards!

This is how you can help:

  1. Please add your best questions, in any of the categories on the Master List below. (select the category, it will take you to the list).
  2. Add additional list categories to the Master List if you don’t like what we have (we will then make your question list category live, and questions can be added by you or others).
  3. Please vote on any question you think should be included in the final questions on the 100 cards.
  4. Please write a post on any list category on your own blog, or ask to guest post on the Eqli.st blog (NEW).  TIP: you can embed any list in your own blog post, so your readers have quick access to add a question, or vote. List.ly makes crowd-sourcing easy! And if it’s on your own blog it will drive lots of traffic there.

Success is in the Cards!

It’s a game based on the 100 questions, which Entrepreneurs need to ask to be successful.

There are ten categories of questions; each category has ten questions, one on each card.

We are crowd-sourcing on list.ly, ensuring that we get the best of the best.

This is an example of how our cards will look. Each card face shows the category (with a distinctive color and type font logo for each category), and the focal point: the question. Each card face will showcase the person who crowd-sourced the question…in this case Cheryl Burgess, Blue Focus Marketing  @CKBurgess.  Thank you Cheryl!

Next example card: Joseph Ruiz, Strategic Marketing Solutions @SMSJOE. Again, a distinctive color & type font logo for the subject category. Thank you Joseph.

We’ve already covered (in a previous post) why we are not giving the answers: the entrepreneurial journey consists of finding the answers & the solutions…though its much easier when you have the RIGHT questions!

We have several card ‘games’ in design  and PlumAmazing is doing the iPad app ~ however, my favorite is the ‘real life’ game of Mentor & Entrepreneur. As directed by the mentor, every few days or so the entrepreneur will search out the best resources and answer(s) to a particular question on the card presented by the mentor. The amount of time between cards is at the discretion of the mentor. Our mentor can customize the “game” for the small biz or start up based on which questions will drive success fastest.

We’ve had over 10 thousand views already on List.ly with our test questions and group of twelve during our pre-launch. Rebel Brown is helping us defy gravity for our launch and we are actively asking for many more contributors; 50 would be great and 100 would be even better! Please spread the word around.

The ART GOD’s conceptual design (this of course may/will change).

The back of the card; same on all 100 cards, establishes the brand image. EQ is Entrepreneurs Questions and we are  @EQLIST on twitter.

What do you think of going to KickStarter to solicit funding for the first run of the real life cards and writing the app? And, how about if we take our profits from our Entrepreneurs Deck O’Cards and re-invest them into other Kickstarter or Start Up projects? We could crowd-source these on List.ly.

Special thanks to @NickKellet for collaboration & list.ly support, @SMSJOE for on-going feedback, @RebelBrown for some golden nuggets and @#kaizenbiz for sponsoring and to everyone who has added questions to our lists.
